From the VA Area Chair:

Dear Area Members,

On behalf of the Panel 62 Area Oﬃcers, it is our pleasure to invite you to join us for the Virginia Area Spring 2023 Assembly, May 12-14. Assembly will once again be Hybrid: in person at the Midlothian Doubletree by Hilton and virtual via Webex. The Fall 2022 Hybrid Assembly was a great success, giving attendees options and ﬂexibility to meet their individual comfort level and situation.

We have a new Assembly Coordinator – Mitch M.; Mitch and the Tech team are working to ensure that all participants have a wonderful experience at the upcoming Assembly.

“Back to Basics” has been adopted by the Oﬃcers as the theme for the remainder of Panel 62 Assemblies. I am very excited to share that the 2023 Spring Assembly will focus on Team Building, in addition to conducting the business of the Area’s groups – which, as we know, is the primary purpose of Assembly. The Spiritual Speaker on Sunday will be Claire R., retired WSO Trustee. There will be 3 workshop choices: Public Outreach, How to Do a Workshop and Team Building /In-reach. Also, there will be a Scavenger Hunt to participate in during the Assembly.

As always, I want to extend my gratitude to each of you for your service to our fellowship, as every act of service is critical in maintaining the links of service, carrying the message, and furthering the recovery of our current and future members. Thank you for all you do!
