Fall Assembly

Dear Grateful Members,

Panel 62 invites you to the Virginia Area’s Fall 2023 Assembly, Oct 13-15, which will once again be Hybrid: in person at the Midlothian DoubleTree by Hilton and virtual via Webex. REGISTRATION LINK IS HERE!! If attending in person, please be sure to register early because rooms are limited.  In-person registration closes September 29, 2023, while virtual registration will remain open until October 6, 2023.   

What’s New for Fall 2023 Assembly:

• WORKSHOPS ARE BACK! When registering, you will have a choice of 3 workshops (see Chair’s Welcome Letter, attached, for more details)  There will be no hybrid workshops this time around.  You will only be able to attend workshops in person or virtual only.
• Ongoing improvements of the registration process through RegFox  (Feedback is always welcomed!)
• Alateen members can once again attend for free!  Alateen members will need to send an email to assembly@vaalanon.orgPRIOR to registering for Assembly to have their registration fees covered by the Area.
• During the registration process you will be given the option to share your email address with other assembly attendees.  We are hoping to close the divide between virtual & in-person attendees.

• We created an info only webpage for assembly!  It includes a Virtual Ask-It-Basket , FAQ’s and up-to-date information.

• Assembly will be paperless – please print any handouts you want to have with you during Assembly in advance. All Assembly reports will be posted HERE.
• Any member planning to attend as a Past Delegate only may send an email to assembly@vaalanon.org PRIOR to registering for Assembly to have their registration fees covered by the Area.

Note for Virtual Attendees:  

• The meeting link will be sent the day before Assembly to those who have registered to attend virtually.

• A Virtual Ask-It-Basket has also been created.  If you have questions… Ask them now!

• Please be aware that your ability to participate will be limited if you call into the assembly – you will not be able to vote or join a breakout room.

An email confirmation from RegFox will immediately be sent confirming your registration details.  Please check your Spam folder if it’s not in your inbox.  Please feel free to send questions, comments, and concerns to assembly@vaalanon.org.  I’ll be posting updates to the assembly information webpage should updates or corrections be required.
